curly hair, crimson shades
conscious, composed, elegant
wouldn't smile, i wasn't that scary!
long slender legs, turns every head
'a cup of chai' rests on her lap
a few pages turned, keystrokes on her cell
nails, finely shaped, miss the paint
fingers without rings, single?
plays with her hair,
big wide eyes, calm, gorgeous
the checks on her shirt
casual, reflects her persona
wonder what's her name
wonder how she sounds
the one who made me write,
the girl i met in train!

Bro, you sure brought a wide smile on my face, thank you :)
Lovely weave...but no such luck here.
Alka, the girl who inspired these words might never know this was written for her:) You never know, maybe you have so far inspired a thousand minds :)
You have asked instead of composing poetry in her honour. We bloggers are a flawed lot :p
Purba, lol true! :D i did get her name by the time I left the train, but the whole idea of writing something for her, sitting next to her despite she being a stranger was a pleasure :)
Beads, thnx friend :)
Fingers without rings, single?
wow this is so cool. am tempted to write about people I have met in train and people i don't want to see in trains ;)
would you like to share this lovely poetry on my www.mumbai-localtrains.com blog? would love to have it as a Guest Post with proper credit and link to your site.
Anuradha, Thank you for the note :) I was reading mumbai-localtrains and it seems to be quite a serious blog! One which actually helps the readers with facts and numbers! I am not sure how this casual article would fit in :) If you think it would, you are welcome to use it.
It's pretty good blog. I get it some interesting story in your topic.
