words, souvenirs of an angel
expression of love unbound.
smile,wink,hum a tune
it makes us pink and blush!
the more you say, the more you mess
irrevocable damage it does.
Jack pours his sense on Jill
All Jill knows is, she's wet!
the more you share, the more you smile
words are indeed the best!
of touch, of tear, succor and fear
it makes us feel subsit!
words; the devil screams -
my way of torture and pain
words - the sharpest thorn in our life
it bruises our ego and smirk!

Qns] When words uttered to us are highly contextual, why do we always take it in a way which does not mean happiness for us? Why do we always find it as a personal attack and become defensive by throwing it back? Why do we make our life a warfield? Why do we spent our entire life defending our ego? Why is it so important for us that every one around share our thought? Why do we smile relief when we WIN an argument? If you think you are wiser than the rest, wait till your grandchild prove you worng. or maybe just grow old and die so that the rest could moan and move on.

:) Nice.SO you finally let it out. Good for ya.
Answers to your Qs:
Because its human. We say something because we think its right and once the other person says its wrong, we are hell bent on proving ourselves right, especially if its an argument. Its exactly like how a debate competition works. But in real life, yes, damage can occur. We always want what we want to happen,we want our life to be like the way we want and so we try to prove others wrong. Its only natural.
Ego is something they say we shouldn't have but its hard to let it go,very hard.
All the things you have asked in the question is going on from ages,I guess from the time human evolved and in one line I would say,"Thats how humans were made". :)
Its ok honey. I love ya. Tight hug :)
And sometimes I guess we just get jealous of the peace and happiness around us. :P
I know this is confusion. But don just wait till it clears up coz it will never.Forget it and move on.
Is your blog public now? If not, make it so. :)
Misunderstandings are in the order of the day? I get misunderstood a lot, so I can't really help you out there :(
for me words r no doubt a boon....it is a medium of expression....w/o it things cud have been so unpredictable n in chaos....all v need to do is to give a +ve attitude to our words n it will definitely turn out to be a boon
AMAZING poem man!! Couldn't have captured the role of words in a better way. :)
I tto always want to win any argument that I get into. So I can totally relate to that. Quite often my nightmares involve losing an argument. ;)
But lately, I have learn to "agree to disagree". :D :D
Well I think words are both a boon and a curse, subject to how you put them into use.
i m always misunderstood :(
Everything has its good and bad. Strangely words have the most of it and only you can balance it.
Kisses.
well said.. u can heal the wounds from a gun but u cnt heal the wounds from irresponsible words...
how u use words makes all the difference...
remember: words once let out are faster than arrows, and cannot be taken back.
